                  MSHA MINE SAFETY TRAINING

Part 75 & 77 Training

Part 75 and Part 77 Training for Certified and Qualified Persons is part of the the Part 48 training that Supervisors take along with rank and file employees. 

This involves an additional 4 hours of basic first aid training for selected supervisors.  This is mandatory training and must be done once a year. 

The other topics required to be covered under Part 75 (underground coal) and Part 77 (surface coal) are normally included in the basic Part 48 training that they receive along with the other employees.
